Philanthropy Events

ANCHORSPLASH

Anchor Splash is Delta Gamma's huge, annual philanthropy event to raise money for Service for Sight. It is a national DG event where sisters coach other fraternities and sororities in relay races and synchronized swimming routines. At WashU, it is one of the best attended philanthropy events on campus. Anchor Splash is not only a fun way to raise money for and awareness of our philanthropy, but it is also a wonderful way to bond with sisters as well as the greater Greek, WashU, and STL communities.

In addition to running AnchorSplash every Spring, we volunteer at a variety of events benefiting the Delta Gamma Foundation and Service for Sight. Whether it's selling John Donuts on campus, helping out at VisionWalk or Run for Sight, manning the DG tree lot, or volunteering at the Delta Gamma Center for Children with Visual Impairments (just down the road!), we love to spend time bonding with sisters while also helping out the blind and visually impaired. Beyond just helping DG, we never pass up a chance to compete in and fundraise at all other Greek organization philanthropies on campus.

DESSERTS WITH DEE GEE

We started hosting Desserts with Dee Gee in 2018 and since have made it an annual event. Vendors from all around St. Louis supply a variety of desserts. Desserts are sold for a few dollars, and it's a great way to meet new people around campus & give back to the community!
